The Anticancer Colours of the Cauliflower

Cauliflowers are one of the most valuable vegetables that are easily available in our country due to its anticancer properties. They are rich in vitamin C, potassium, and folate. Based on the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA), a cup of raw cauliflower provides the human body with 50% of vitamin C and 15% of folate. It also supplies the body with vitamin B₆ and is enriched with anticancer chemicals such as bioflavonoids and indoles.

Besides, purple cauliflower is also another variety of cauliflower that is higher is beta carotene content compared to the white ones. It is recommended that cauliflowers are boiled to retain their beneficial properties.
