Water as needed a pinch asafoetida powder salt to taste
Topping ingredients:
10-15 curry leaves (finely chopped)
1 onion (finely chopped)
A little coconut oil Note: First time I cook tosai using red rice from @PRIMERA. More healthy and more delicious when you make a recipe like this then it goes well with sambal belacan. 😋😍
Cooking method:
Wash and soak the primera red rice, dried chilies, moong beans and all the dal for 4-5 hours or overnight.
Then grind all the ingredients until smooth. Don’t put too much water. Just the same level of water and dal is enough.
Then add salt and asafoetida powder. Stir well until the mixture is thick and smooth like in the video.
Then prepare a flat nonstick pan and pour the tosai mixture using a ladle and make a beautiful circle using the back of the ladle. Use medium heat.
Then sprinkle some curry leaves, onions and drizzle some coconut oil on the tosai. Let it cook then lifted and it’s ready to eat.
